General things that would be nearly impossible to skip:
- Themes of violence against women, particularly sexual and intimate partner violence. Shown through symbolism, nothing particularly graphic is shown on-screen
- Artistic nudity (non-graphic)
- Smoking
- Stylized violence (moderately graphic)
- Cannibalism
- Severe uncanny and disturbing imagery, including dead bodies, bones, meat, fire, bugs and worms, and exploding buildings. These images often just pop up on screen at various points during the film
- Body horror (through creepy masks)
- Stalking
- Paranoia fuel
- Dogs
- Guns
- Knives
- Everything about the film is designed to feel surreal and uncanny. Make sure you are in a good headspace before watching, and do not watch if you are sensitive to disturbing and surreal imagery
Specific scenes that can be easily skipped:
- Animal death + some ableist language - Not necessary to understand the story, just characters making small talk (1:21-2:02)
